The Three Month Interim

Well, Beth and I were hard at work during the three months we were apart.  We had AzMerit tests, and orchestra concerts and trips to Disneyland and all kinds of events.  Not to mention doctor appointments and procedures for the herniated disc in her back.  We were busy girls!  Dave and Jake, however, sent many pictures of themselves lounging in their hammocks in the backyard, or of the view from the back porch, etc. etc......  :-)  Actually, between school and work, they remodeled the basement and added a bathroom, and moved the laundry room downstairs and made the main level laundry and beautiful pantry.  He also concreted the shop and purchased himself a riding John Deer lawn mower.  We do have a lot of grass.  In winter it will have a snow blower attachment because evidently this is supposed to be a big winter.  Here are some highlights from our time apart.

I had both the truck and the van in Mesa.  This is Jake's RAV 4 that was towed behind the U-Haul.  It was their only vehicle.

One of the other things they did was to build a chicken coop.  We now have 7 hens and a possible rooster.  Not very happy about that development.

This is an X-Ray of the needles in Beth's back as the Dr. was injected the "happy juice".

The classroom tear down.

Beth turned 14.

So while she and I packed and worked our butts off to be ready for Dave's return for Move #2, these were the kind of pics I would get from them.

Beth won the Orchestra Director's Award this year.  An outstanding accomplishment! Top honors!

Beth and her orchestra teacher.  Love her!  Ms. Lindsay Barnes.
