The intermediate grades get to compete in track and field day each year and we found out that both of our kids are very fast runners. Bethany competed in every single one of the girls running events, and Jacob took first place as the fastest runner in the whole school. I took my third grade class out to the track and cheered them on as they ran their heats. It was so funny. The Hagars had their own cheering section. And seeing as how it sounds like I'll have a job here next year as well, Beth should continue to have a cheering section for a couple more years at Hale.
