One day last fall we decided to go to Canyon Lake for a ride on the Dolly Steamboat. It was something we had never done in all the years we've lived here and just thought we should do it. Somebody was not very happy that he had to wear a life vest and thought he was being treated like a child, and since he's 5'8", but still 12 (which was the cut off) thought this was highly unfair. I agreed with him, but argued that we still needed to follow the rules. We ended up having a fun time. After the ride we drove up one of the inlets and went on a little hike.
