We had a great 4th of July here at our house. Dave and John supplied us with some fireworks and Dave and Jake set them off in our front yard. Being that we are very limited with what fireworks we are allowed to use, we did our best, but we made it a fun time. Every now and again a little breeze would blow in and made the evening heat almost tolerable. So did all the desserts that everyone brought! We were basically waiting until 9pm when a church down the road would be shooting off their fireworks. In years past we've always been able to see them from our house. This year, however, they were too low and we didn't get to see a thing. Oh well, Dave gave a good show with our own private fireworks.
