Lucky Ducks!

Paulette called us one day to inform us that some little ducklings had hatched and were swimming in the negative edge trough of their swimming pool. Well, with Paul's dogs now living in their backyard, those ducks were in danger of not living to see the sun rise, so Dave and I took off with a fishing net and our kitty carrier. Dave was able to fish them all up in the net and I was ready with the box. We then transported them to the momma duck who had been spooked to the canal on the other side of the fence. She was waiting and reprimanding us like crazy. As soon as those ducklings heard her, they took off like little troopers. It was a great save.
