Zonies in Cali!

The second of our two vacations this year was to visit Paul in his new house in Cardiff-By-the-Sea. He has a fabulous view of the ocean from his living room window so I imagine we'll be visiting often! We walked down to the beach each day for a few hours of boogie boarding and sun tanning. Or I should say, almost burning. The 50 spf sunblock didn't do much to help our sensitive white skin! Dave also took the kids snorkeling in La Jolla, we went to Sea World one day and also had a relaxing day at Sea Port Village. It was an awesome time! Oh! And on the way home we stopped at Desert Sweet Shrimp farm just outside of Gila Bend. They raise shrimp right out in the middle of the desert. We bought a couple of boxes of frozen shrimp and had some that night for supper. It was so good! The last picture is one of the ponds out there.
