Off with his hair!

This past holiday season, Jake's scout troop was challenged by one of the leaders to raise at least 6000 cans during their canned food drive. If they were successful, the deal was that he would shave his head. Well, as you can see by the pictures, the boys came through! They raised 6078 total! The leader's wife, possibly out of spite, called the Tribune paper and Fox 10 news, and both were there to record the event and do stories on him, and in turn, the troop. It was a great story, although would have been made much better had Jacob gotten air time, but that's ok. His hair was put in at least 75 little pony tails and each boy got to shave to one off. I thought that was clever. So way to go guys!
